Just across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Fransisco, Marin County is surrounded by the San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean with mountain parks and towns in between. Whether you are looking for a waterfront stroll, a walk through ancient redwoods, or a strenous mountain bike ride, there are many opportunities close by. Marin offers the finest in dining, hiking, shopping, biking, kayaking, and touring. From the houseboats of Sausalito to the Redwood hills of Mill Valley, the historic district of Larkspur to Lighthouses jutting out over crashing waves. You could explore the winding Highway 1 that meanders up the coast to Stinson Beach and Inverness on Tomalaes Bay, or take Sir Fransics Drake Blvd through the redwoods to Point Reyes National Sea shore.
We are also a quick drive over the Golden Gate Bridge or Ferry ride to San Fransisco.

Hiking and Mountain Biking:
There are some world class hiking and mountain biking trails with Bay views, and Redwood groves directly from our campus up Goldhill fireroad and into China Camps State Park and San Pedro Mountain Preserve. You can stay on open fire roads or explore single-track options.
However you may want to travel farther afield and explore the sights of the country:
Walk the the Golden Gate bridge or just catch the views above in the Marin Headlands or walk along the park's Rodeo Beach. Or you might choose to Hike through redwoods, open meadows and the Pacific Ocean Views from Mount Tamalpais on your way to Stinson Beach or Stroll through the famous old trees of Muir woods.
With more time you might want to wind out to Point Reyes National Sea Shore.
Co Director Hilary Staples is an avid hiker and is ready to help you choose the perfect hike, bike or run for your interest and level.
